Parent. Neighbor. Educator.

Serving In Education for 23+ years. Lifting Your Voice.

Kelly believes leadership should be anchored in listening. Allowing policies to be shaped by the community and actions grounded in empathy. She has lived in the Ellettsville community for almost 10 years and her two children are both current students in Edgewood Schools. Kelly wants to serve our community with one mission: to raise everyones perspectives and voice to strengthen the parent partnership with Edgewood Schools.

Strong Schools | Safe Kids | Transparent Leadership

Communication

Strong schools depend on strong relationships with families, which requires clear, timely, two-way communication.

Families should know who to contact, receive responses, and be treated as partners in their children’s education; from the classroom to the central office.

Safety

Safety is more than one policy, one program, or one person. It means everything from protecting students from bullying and  harassment to securing our facilities.

Safety spans the need for student digital literacy to examining policies that leave students feeling embarrassed, unheard, or unsafe at school.

Transparent Leadership

Transparency builds trust. When questions or concerns arise, families and community members deserve clear information about what happened, what is being done, and how the district will keep improving.
